Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable gas ejected from a damaged place of a metal gas conduit to be safely and quickly shut off, to facilitate recovery work after shut-off.SOLUTION: An ejection gas emergency shut-off tool 1 is configured to shut off, on an emergency basis, gas ejected from a damaged place Ps of a metal gas conduit P, and includes a work rod 3 having a length to such an extent as to enable remote work, and a permanent magnet 2 held at a holding part 3A provided at a tip of the work rod 3. The permanent magnet 2 or the holding part 3A has an adsorption surface 2A covering the damaged place Ps and magnetically adsorbed to a surface of the metal gas conduit P.
