Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly, a treated article, and a process of treating a turbine component.SOLUTION: A turbine component (200) includes an article (108) and a wear component (202) brazed to the article (108). The process includes applying a braze tape (302) to the wear component (202), and thermally processing the turbine component (200) while the braze tape (302) is on the wear component (202). The turbine component (200) includes an article (108), a pre-sintered preform brazed to a surface of the article (108), and a braze tape (302) on the pre-sintered preform. A treated turbine component (400) includes a treated article (402) and a pre-sintered preform brazed to a surface of the treated article (402).
