Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system that determines the position of a maintenance worker doing maintenance work and the operating state of the elevator, and assists safety for the maintenance worker.SOLUTION: An elevator system according to one embodiment comprises: a first elevator control device that controls an operation of a first elevator; a terminal device that acquires first elevator information including at least first cage position information and switch information from the first elevator control device and that can be carried by a maintenance worker. The terminal device comprises: operating state determination means that determines an operating state of the first elevator on the basis of the first cage position information; position estimating means that estimates the position of the maintenance worker on the basis of the switch information; danger determining means that determines a danger to the maintenance worker on the basis of an operating state of the first elevator and the position of the maintenance worker; and warning means that provides warning in a case where the danger determining means determines that the maintenance worker is in danger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
