Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet loading device and sheet processing device capable of stable loading of sheets and detecting a height of sheets loaded.SOLUTION: A sheet loading device has a tray 16 that has an inclined surface on which a sheet Sa processed by a processing part is loaded, a plurality of movable guides 14 that guide a sheet being fed from the processing part toward the tray and are provided in different positions along a sheet-width direction of the tray, and moving means that moves the plurality of movable guides in a first direction directed toward the inclined surface and in a second direction opposite to the first direction. By the moving means, the plurality of movable guides are moved in the first direction and abutted against a sheet loaded on the inclined surface. Then, the plurality of movable guides are moved in the second direction, and a state of sheets loaded is determined from a movement of the movable guide that hit first the loaded sheet out of the plurality of movable guides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
