Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable image recognition in a real-time manner in synchronization with an output of pixel data from an image sensor without needing a large capacity buffer.SOLUTION: An image recognizing device (100) includes: a cell feature quantity calculating unit (10) that calculates a feature quantity of a cell while receiving pixel data; a cell position calculating unit (20) that calculates a cell position every time the calculation of the feature quantity of the cell is completed; a window address calculating unit (30) that calculates respective addresses of all windows where the cell belongs on the basis of the cell position; a cell overlap number calculating unit (40) that calculates the number of overlapped cells in each window; a cell base image comparing unit (50) that compares a partial feature quantity of the window acquired by repeatedly applying the feature quantity of the cell by the number of overlapped cells for each window and a corresponding partial feature quantity in a reference image every time the calculation of the feature quantity of the cell is completed to accumulate an intermediate result; and a similarity determining unit (60) that determines a similarity between the window and the reference image every time the comparison of images by the single window is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】大容量のバッファを必要とせずイメージセンサからのピクセルデータ出力に同期してリアルタイムで画像認識を行う。【解決手段】画像認識装置(100)は、ピクセルデータを受信しながらセルの特徴量を計算するセル特徴量計算部(10)と、セルの特徴量計算が完了するごとにセル位置を計算するセル位置計算部(20)と、セル位置に基づいてセルが所属するすべてのウィンドウのアドレスを計算するウィンドウアドレス計算部(30)と、各ウィンドウにおけるセルの重複数を計算するセル重複数計算部(40)と、セルの特徴量計算が完了するごとに各ウィンドウについてセル重複数だけ当該セルの特徴量を繰り返し適用して得たウィンドウの部分特徴量と参照画像において対応する部分特徴量とを比較してその中間結果を累積するセルベース画像比較部(50)と、1ウィンドウ分の画像比較が完了するごとに当該ウィンドウと参照画像との類似を判定する類似判定部(60)とを備える。【選択図】図3 |
