Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and stably cool even a soft object to be cooled such as a food without deforming it, and to improve the quality of the object to be cooled.SOLUTION: A food cooling apparatus 1 comprises a tunnel portion 2, a liquefied gas supply portion 5 for supplying a liquefied gas into the tunnel portion 2, and a stirring fan device 10 for stirring the low temperature gas in a cooling space 24. A baffle plate 13 is provided below a stirring fan device 10, a partition wall 25 for partitioning a cooling space 24 into an upper part and a lower part is provided below the baffle plate 13, a plurality of communication pipes 26 for communicating the upper and lower space parts are formed in the partition wall so that liquefied gas having hit the baffle plate 13 passes around the baffle plate 13 to flow from the upper space 24a to the lower space 24b, and the liquefied gas supply portion 5 supplies the liquefied gas so that the liquefied gas flows from the upper space 24a to the lower space 24b through the communication pipe 26 while maintaining a pressurized state of the upper space 24a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明は、柔らかい食品等の被冷却物であっても変形することなく均等に安定して冷却することができ、被冷却物の品質を向上することができることを課題とする。【解決手段】トンネル部2と、トンネル部2内に液化ガスを供給する液化ガス供給部5と、冷却空間24内の低温ガスを攪拌する攪拌ファン装置10とを備える。攪拌ファン装置10の下方には、邪魔板13が設けられ、邪魔板13の下方には、冷却空間24を上下部分に区画する区画壁25が設けられ、邪魔板13に当った液化ガスが邪魔板13の周囲を通過して上部空間24aから下部空間24bに流れるように、上下空間部を連通する連通パイプ26が、区画壁に複数形成され、液化ガス供給部5は、上部空間24aの加圧状態を維持しながら上部空間24aから連通パイプ26を介して下部空間24bに液化ガスが流れるように、液化ガスを供給する。【選択図】図1
