Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which a battery charger for charging a battery pack of a power tool cannot be placed in contact with a wall without a gap since a power cord drawn out from the side of a main body case becomes an obstacle, and to ensure that the battery charger can be placed in contact with the wall without making the power cord become an obstacle.SOLUTION: A concave portion 23 recessed inwardly from a plan view side surface area S is provided at a rear corner portion of a main body housing 20, and a power cord 24 can be pulled out from either the rear side or the right side through the concave portion 23. By allowing the power cord 24 to be pulled upward through the concave portion 23, the battery charger 10 can be set in contact with the corner portion of the wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】電動工具のバッテリパックを充電するための充電器では、本体ケースの側部から引き出された電源コードが邪魔になるため壁際に隙間なく当接させて設置できない問題があった。本発明では、電源コードが邪魔になることなく壁に当接させて設置できるようにする。【解決手段】本体ハウジング20の背面側右角部に、平面視側面領域Sから内側へ凹む凹部23を設けて、この凹部23から電源コード24を後方または右側方の何れからも引き出せるようにする。また、電源コード24を凹部23から上方へも引き出せるようにすることで、当該充電器10を壁のコーナー部に当接させて設置することができる。【選択図】図5
