PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve further improvement.SOLUTION: A detection device for detecting the state of a person in a prescribed space includes: a display control unit which displays a message to a person on a display installed in front of the person; an infrared sensor which is arranged on the lower part of the display; and a state detection unit which estimates the temperature sensation of the person from a thermal image of the space acquired from the infrared sensor and including the seat where the person sits on.
