Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle detection device in a railway crossing whose software processing load is mitigated.SOLUTION: In a determination program 20 of a failsafe computer 14 that processes measured data on a railway crossing road 4 acquired by flat surface sweeping measurement parts 11 to 13, after data inputting 21, the measured data are contracted for subsequent processing in data limiting 22 before grouping 23. Eventually, the data processing load is decreased in size and volume and an increase of tracking number is suppressed without sacrificing capability of tracking. Tracking 24 is carried out after the grouping and then in the final determination 25, the existence of obstacles is determined in response to the existence of pursued objects in the tracking. This avoids increasing of burden of determination of existence and worsening of correctness even if tracking process which uses representing points and imposes light processing burden is adopted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】踏切障害物検知装置のソフトウェア処理の負荷を軽くする。【解決手段】平面掃引計測部11〜13で得た踏切道4の測定データを処理するフェールセーフコンピュータ14の判定プログラム20について、データ入力21の後、グルーピング23に先だって、データ限定22にて測定データを後続処理用データに絞り込むようにする。これにより、データ処理量が縮小・軽減されるとともに、追跡性能を犠牲にすることなくトラッキング数の増加が抑制される。また、グルーピング後にトラッキング24を行い、その後の最終判定25では、トラッキングの追跡対象の有無に応じて障害物の存否を判定する。これにより、処理負担の軽い代表点利用のトラッキング処理を行っても、存否判定の負担が重くならないで済み、正確性も損なわれないで済む。【選択図】 図1
