Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift-by-wire type automatic transmission system capable of switching a shift range of an automatic transmission even when an ignition switch is in an OFF state.SOLUTION: A shift-by-wire type automatic transmission system includes a controller 105 in which, by turning on an ignition switch 101, power from a power supply device 106 is supplied by a first power supply path 11 via the ignition switch 101. The shift-by-wire type automatic transmission system includes a second power supply path 12 for supplying power to the controller 105 from the power supply device 106 without going through the ignition switch 101.
