PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an uppermost paper of a paper bundle separate properly from the second paper by ensuring the uppermost paper to be bent upward.SOLUTION: One aspect of the present invention includes: a paper storage unit for storing stacked papers; an air blowing unit disposed in front of the paper storage unit for blowing an air near the upper front end portion of the paper bundle; a suction and conveyance unit disposed above the paper storage unit for conveying forward, in a state of being sucked, the uppermost paper floated from the paper bundle by the air blowing; a regulation member disposed in the paper storage unit for regulating a position of at least one side end portion in a width direction of the paper bundle; a pressing mechanism for pressing the side end portion of the floated paper by moving a pressing member which is attached to the regulation member; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the air blowing unit and the pressing mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】用紙束の最上位の用紙を上方に確実に湾曲させ、用紙束の最上位の用紙と２枚目の用紙を良好に捌くことを可能にする。【解決手段】本発明の一態様は、積載された用紙を収容する用紙収容部と、用紙束の上部前端部付近に空気を吹き付ける該用紙収容部の前方に配置された送風部と、空気の吹き付けにより用紙束から浮上した最上位の用紙を吸着した状態で前方へ搬送する該用紙収容部の上方に配置された吸着搬送部と、用紙収容部に設けられた、用紙束の幅方向の少なくとも一方の端部の位置を規制する規制部材と、該規制部材に設けられた押圧部材を移動させて、浮上した用紙の側端部を押圧する押圧機構と、送風部と押圧機構の動作を制御する制御部と、を備える。【選択図】図３
