Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suppressing the leak of light between adjacent light-emitting elements in a display device.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a substrate; a plurality of light-emitting elements arranged on the substrate; and a protection layer for protecting the plurality of light-emitting elements. The plurality of light-emitting elements include a plurality of lower electrodes separated from each other by an insulating part, an organic layer including a light-emitting layer arranged on the plurality of lower electrodes, and an upper electrode arranged so as to cover the organic layer. The insulating part includes a first portion arranged on each lower electrode, and a second part arranged between the lower electrodes. The protection layer is arranged so as to cover the upper electrode. The protection layer is provided with a separation part having a refraction index different from that of the protection layer over the second portion.
