PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wash stand capable of retaining a bowl part clean, while suppressing wasteful discharge of functional water.SOLUTION: A wash stand (1) according to the present invention, capable of discharging service water and functional water having sterilization action, includes: a bowl part (2) having a drain outlet (2a); a first water discharge part (4a) for discharging service water to the bowl part; a second water discharge part (4b) for discharging the functional water having sterilization action to the bowl part; a solenoid valve (30) for changing over between water discharge and water stoppage from the second water discharge part; a human body detection sensor (19) for detecting approach of a user to the wash stand; and a control part (40) that, when the approach of the user is detected by the human body detection sensor, controls the solenoid valve to forbid the water discharge from the second water discharge part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】機能水の無駄な吐水を抑制しながら、ボウル部を清潔に保つことができる洗面台を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、水道水及び除菌作用を有する機能水を吐出可能な洗面台(1)であって、排水口(2a)を有するボウル部(2)と、このボウル部に水道水を吐出させるための第１の吐水部(4a)と、ボウル部に除菌作用を有する機能水を吐出させるための第２の吐水部(4b)と、この第２の吐水部からの吐水、止水を切り換えるための電磁弁(30)と、洗面台への使用者の接近を検知する人体検知センサ(19)と、この人体検知センサによって使用者の接近が検知されている場合には、第２の吐水部からの吐水を禁止するように、電磁弁を制御する制御部(40)と、を有することを特徴としている。【選択図】図４
