Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a metal pipe 1 having a straight part having a fixed pipe diameter, and a cone-shaped part successive thereto, from a metallic plate 5 having a straight part formation part, and a cone-shaped part formation part successive thereto.SOLUTION: A U-shaped metallic plate 22 is obtained from a metallic plate 5 by U-bending. An inward falling part 32 in which a prescribed range including a boundary between a straight part formation part and a cone-shaped part formation part is bent inward is formed on each facing side wall 28 of the U-shaped metallic plate 22. Thereafter, the U-shaped metallic plate 22 is O-bent by a pair of split patterns each having an arc-shaped molding surface, to thereby obtain a metal pipe 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】管径が一定のストレート部とこれに続くコーン状部を有する金属管1を、ストレート部形成部とこれに続くコーン状部形成部を有する金属平板5から製造する。【解決手段】金属平板5からU曲げ成形によってU字状金属板22を得る。このU字状金属板22の相対する側壁28各々に、ストレート部形成部とコーン状部形成部との境界部を含む所定範囲が内側に倒れた内倒れ部32を形成する。しかる後、円弧状成形面を有する一対の割型でU字状金属板22をO曲げ成形することによって金属管1を得る。【選択図】図4
