Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device capable of projecting a video signal having an appropriate high dynamic range corresponding to a use state.SOLUTION: In an image projection device 100, on the basis of the luminance of a projection image projected onto a screen C (projection face) measured by a luminance sensor 20 (luminance measuring means), an HDR switching unit 12 (selection means) selects any one of a real HDR conversion unit 13a and a pseudo HDR conversion unit 13b, which are video conversion means.
