Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of operating a global electronic shutter while improving a saturation charge amount.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus performs a global electronic shutter operation in which exposure periods of a plurality of pixels coincide. During a first period in which charges are accumulated by a photoelectric conversion part of at least one pixel, signals based on charges held by holding parts of the plurality of pixels are sequentially output to an output line. During a second period after completing to output the signals from the plurality of pixels, the holding parts of the plurality of pixels hold charges.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】 本発明の実施例によれば、飽和電荷量を向上しつつ、グローバル電子シャッタを行うことができる。【解決手段】 本発明に係る実施例の撮像装置では、複数の画素の露光期間が一致した、グローバル電子シャッタ動作を行う。少なくとも1つの画素の光電変換部による電荷の蓄積が行われている第1の期間に、複数の画素の保持部に保持された電荷に基づく信号を、順次、出力線へ出力する。複数の画素からの信号の出力が終わった後の第2の期間に、複数の画素の保持部が電荷を保持する。【選択図】 図3
