Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of freedom of layout of a lower floor and an upper floor of a building intermediate floor equipped with a base-isolating device.SOLUTION: In an intermediate floor base-isolated building 1, a base-isolating device 4 is installed on an upper surface 51t of a beam 51 of a building intermediate floor 5. The base-isolating device 4 is installed in an intermediate portion 51c of the beam 51 laid between lower columns 21, 21. The lower column 21 is not provided on a lower surface side of the base-isolating device 4.
