Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cooling device, a wavelength conversion device, a light diffusion device, a light source device and a projector capable of increasing the cooling efficiency of a cooling object.SOLUTION: A rotary cooling device 62 includes: a rotary device 63; a base part 65 connected to the cooling object and rotated by the rotary device; and a heat radiation part 67 arranged on the base part and radiating heat transmitted from the cooling object via the base part. The heat radiation part includes a plurality of fins 671 extending from a rotary center side of the base part to the outer peripheral side and a plurality of first grooves 673 formed between the plurality of fins and communication with the outside region of the heat radiation part as viewed along a rotary axis of the base part; and a plurality of second grooves 674 intersecting at least any of the plurality of first grooves and dividing the plurality of fins into a plurality of fin elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
