Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned carrier that moves a truck and that has a structure enabling vertical miniaturization, and a control method for the same.SOLUTION: An unmanned carrier 10, which moves a truck C having a truck body CB, a wheel CH attached to the truck body CB and a part-to-be-connected CA provided on an undersurface of the truck body CB, comprises a vehicle body 11, a driven wheel that is attached to the vehicle body 11, and a connection mechanism 20 that is connected to the truck C. The connection mechanism 20 has a connection part 22 that is arranged in such a manner as to be movable in a first direction of horizontal directions on the upside of a top surface of the vehicle body 11, and a drive unit 21 that moves the connection part 22 in the first direction to connect it to the part-to-be-connected CA.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
