Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide strontium titanate-based fine particles good in dispersion, environmental property and fluidization and capable of being alternative of hydrophobic titanium dioxide as a toner external additive, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided strontium titanate-based fine particles containing a perovskite type titanium oxide compound represented by the general formula SrTiOas a main component, a third component M selected from La, Mg, Ca, SN and Si and having molar ratio of (Sr+M) to Ti:(Sr+M)/Ti in a range of 0.70 to 0.90, a spherical shape with average circularity of 0.80 to 1.00, average primary particle diameter of 0.02 μm to 0.06 μm and a value of quartile deviation of the primary particle diameter divided by the average primary particle diameter of less than 0.20.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】分散、環境特性および流動化性が良好で、トナー外添剤として疎水性二酸化チタンの代替物となり得るチタン酸ストロンチウム系微細粒子及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】一般式SrTiO3で示されるペロブスカイト型チタン酸化合物を主成分とし、La、Mg、Ca、Sn及びSiから選択される第3成分Mを含み、Tiに対する(Sr+M)のモル比:(Sr+M)/Tiが0.70〜0.90の範囲にあり、平均円形度0.80〜1.00の球状を有し、平均一次粒子径が0.02μm〜0.06μm、一次粒子径の四分偏差を平均一次粒子径で割った値が0.20未満であるチタン酸ストロンチウム系微細粒子。【選択図】なし
