Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit image data of a size larger than a size with which data can be transmitted in a predetermined format.SOLUTION: A signal segmentation part (103) segments image data, consisting of pixels larger in number of pixels of one frame which can be transmitted according to a standard of a predetermined format (SDI), into an image region of pixels as many as pixels which can be transmitted in the predetermined format and a second image region excluding the first image region. A multiplexer (104) and an external I/F (105) transmit data of the first image region through a first transmission line conforming to the SDI and data of the second image region through a second transmission line conforming to the SDI.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】所定のフォーマットで伝送できるサイズより大きいサイズの画像データを伝送可能にすることを課題とする。【解決手段】信号切り出し部(103)は、1フレームの画素数が所定のフォーマット(SDI)の規格で伝送可能な画素数よりも大きい画素数の画像データを、所定のフォーマットで伝送可能な画素数の第1の画像領域と、第1の画像領域を除いた第2の画像領域と、に切り分ける。マルチプレクサ(104)及び外部I/F(105)は、SDIに準拠した第1の伝送路で第1の画像領域のデータを伝送し、SDIに準拠した第2の伝送路で第2の画像領域のデータを伝送する。【選択図】図1
