Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit image data of a size larger than a size with which data can be transmitted in a predetermined format.SOLUTION: A signal segmentation part (103) segments image data, consisting of pixels larger in number of pixels of one frame which can be transmitted according to a standard of a predetermined format (SDI), into an image region of pixels as many as pixels which can be transmitted in the predetermined format and a second image region excluding the first image region. A multiplexer (104) and an external I/F (105) transmit data of the first image region through a first transmission line conforming to the SDI and data of the second image region through a second transmission line conforming to the SDI.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
