Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting a recycling material that can readily and efficiently sort out plastic used for components of a discarded vehicle and acquire a high-purity recycling resource.SOLUTION: A method for collecting a recycling material includes: a crushing step of dismantling and crushing a discarded vehicle to obtain a crushed matter; a plastic sorting step of irradiating the crushed matter with X-ray and detecting a constituent element of an inorganic filler contained in plastic 10 in the crushed matter to sort out the plastic 10 from the crushed matter; and a foreign matter removal step of removing a foreign matter from a surface of the plastic 10 sorted out in the plastic sorting step to recycle the plastic 10 from which the foreign matter is removed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
