Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pretreatment equipment for waste capable of promoting a carbonation reaction of heavy metal in the waste.SOLUTION: Pretreatment equipment 30 includes: an inner drum 31 for accommodating incineration ash D1; and a gas supply device 38 for supplying gas containing carbon dioxide into the inner drum 31 to cause a carbonation reaction of heavy metal.
