Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate having an antifogging layer which has good antifogging property and persistence of antifogging effect and does not show a trace of a water drip even when absorbing water; a composition for forming an antifogging layer capable of producing the laminate with good productivity; and a method for producing a laminate using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a laminate which has: a base material; and an antifogging layer, the antifogging layer provided on the base material and containing: silica particles having an average particle diameter of primary particles of 2 nm or more and 100 nm or less; a copolymer having a structural unit derived from a vinyl-based monomer having a crosslinking functional group selected from an N-methylol group, a hydroxyl group and the like, a structural unit derived from a vinyl-based monomer having a sulfonate group and the like, and a structural unit derived from an alkyl(meth)acrylate monomer; and a hydrolysis condensate of a compound represented by general formula (1). There are also provided a composition for forming an antifogging layer, and a method for producing the laminate. In the general formula (1), Rto Reach independently represent a monovalent organic group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and n represents an integer of 1 to 20.SELECTED DRAWING: None
