PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system and an information processing method for acquiring biological information on the same user terminal in registration time and authentication time, and improving accuracy of a user authentication.SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises a server 12, an image formation device 14 and a user terminal 200. When printing data is registered in the server, biological information of the user (biological information for registration) is acquired using the user terminal. When printing using the printing data is executed, the user terminal acquires device identification information of an image formation device, associates the acquired device identification information with the biological information of the user (biological information for authentication) acquired using the user terminal, and then sends the device identification information to the server. When the biological information for registration and the biological information for authentication match, the server sends the printing data to the image formation device 14, and, on the image formation device, printing processing using the printing data is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】登録時および認証時に同じユーザ端末で生体情報を取得し、ユーザ認証の精度を向上することができる情報処理システムおよび情報処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】情報処理システムは、サーバ１２、画像形成装置１４およびユーザ端末２００を含む。印刷データをサーバに登録するとき、ユーザ端末を用いてユーザの生体情報（登録用の生体情報）が取得される。印刷データを用いた印刷を実行する場合には、ユーザ端末は、画像形成装置の装置識別情報を取得し、取得した装置識別情報に、ユーザ端末を用いて取得されたユーザの生体情報（認証用の生体情報）を関連付けてサーバに送信する。サーバは、登録用の生体情報と認証用の生体情報とが一致する場合に、印刷データを画像形成装置１４に送信し、画像形成装置においてその印刷データを用いた印刷処理が実行される。【選択図】図５
