Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge the battery of a self-traveling cleaner wirelessly from a charging stand and make the floor area of the charging stand compact.SOLUTION: A wireless charging system for a self-traveling cleaner comprises: a self-traveling cleaner which includes a battery, a cleaning-and-traveling device, and a control part for driving and controlling the cleaning-and-traveling device by the electric power of the battery, and which cleans a floor surface while traveling on the floor surface; and a charging stand which is used to charge the battery. The charging stand includes a power supply coil and an excitation circuit for exciting the power supply coil. The self-traveling cleaner includes: a power reception coil for receiving electric power from the power supply coil by electromagnetic coupling; and a charging circuit for charging the battery by receiving output of the power reception coil.
