| Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand capable of reducing restrictions on design for a base part, and a television device.SOLUTION: A stand 1 is used for holding a display device 2. The stand includes a base part 10, and a support part 20 rotating with respect to the base part and holding the display device. The support part has a drive unit 30 to rotate a display screen of the display device. The drive unit is provided on a back face side of the display screen of the display device.
