PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device capable of properly adjusting management pressure regardless of wear of a sheet feeding roller and a management member.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device includes a management pressure adjusting mechanism which adjusts a pressure that occurs between a management plate 46 and a sheet feeding roller 42 as a management pressure, a limiter mechanism which, when the management pressure reaches a specified limit value under operation of the management pressure adjusting mechanism, puts a limit not to cause the management pressure further rises, a display device for displaying information that should be transmitted to a user, and a control unit which obtains sheet information including the information about a thickness of a sheet that is delivered, and makes the display device display an amount that should be adjusted by the management pressure adjusting mechanism based on the obtained sheet information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17 【課題】給紙ローラやサバキ部材の摩耗に関係なくサバキ圧を適正に調整可能な給紙装置を提供する。【解決手段】ある態様の給紙装置は、サバキ板４６と給紙ローラ４２との間に生じる圧力をサバキ圧として調整するサバキ圧調整機構と、サバキ圧調整機構の操作によってサバキ圧が所定のリミット値に達すると、サバキ圧がさらに上昇することのないように制限をかけるリミッタ機構と、ユーザに伝達すべき情報を表示する表示装置と、送り出される用紙の厚さに関する情報を含む用紙情報を取得し、取得した用紙情報に基づいてサバキ圧調整機構により調整すべき調整量を表示装置に表示させる制御部と、を備える。【選択図】図１７
