PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging position detector which does not require two weights and two detection switches, and a hanging position detection device.SOLUTION: A hanging position detector 40 for detecting a hanging position of a hook hung from a sheave at a tip part of a boom by a wire rope comprises: a weight 41 provided in a relatively movable manner in a vertical direction along the wire rope and lifted up as the hook rises by bringing the hook into contact therewith by winding up the wire rope; a rope 42 for hanging the weight 41 from the tip part of the boom; a winding drum 45 for winding up only a length corresponding to a hanging position of the hook by winding up only an amount of loosening of the rope 42 when the weight 41 is lifted as the hook rises; and a rotation angle sensor 46 for detecting a winding length of the rope 42 wound by the winding drum 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】２つの錘や２つの検知スイッチを必要としない吊下位置検出器と吊下位置検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】ブームの先端部のシーブからワイヤロープによって吊り下げられたフックの吊り下げ位置を検出する吊下位置検出器４０であって、前記ワイヤロープに沿って上下方向に相対移動可能に設けられ、且つ、前記ワイヤロープの巻上げにより上昇する前記フックが当接することにより該フックの上昇とともに持ち上げられていく錘４１と、錘４１を前記ブームの先端部から吊るすロープ４２と、前記フックの上昇とともに錘４１が持ち上げられていくときのロープ４２の緩みの分だけを巻き上げてくことによって、前記フックの吊下げ位置に対応した長さだけ巻き取る巻取ドラム４５と、巻取ドラム４５が巻き取ったロープ４２の巻取り長さを検出する回転角センサ４６とを備えている。【選択図】図６
