Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of achieving a global shutter function while suppressing a complication in a circuit in a pixel.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus in the present disclosure comprises: a plurality of unit pixel cells including a first electrode, a second electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer between the first electrode and a second electrode, a charge storage region connected to the first electrode, and a signal detection circuit connected to the charge storage region; and a voltage supply circuit that is connected to the second electrode, supplies a first voltage to the second electrode in an exposure period for storing an electric charge formed by photoelectric conversion to the charge storage region, and supplies a second voltage to the second electrode in a non-exposure period. A start and a finish of the exposure period are common in the plurality of unit pixel cells. Each unit pixel cell is connected to the charge storage region, and includes a reset transistor that switches a supply and a block of a reset voltage. A electric potential difference between the first electrode and the second electrode when the reset voltage is supplied is larger than that after the reset voltage is blocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
