Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for suppressing power consumption by controlling a power saving mode of SRAM with a synchronous signal of a device as a reference without using an instruction of a job as the reference.SOLUTION: The image formation apparatus includes a memory module with a normal mode and a power saving mode of lower power consumption than that of the normal mode. The memory module executes transition processing for resetting the power saving mode to the normal mode on the basis of a vertical synchronous signal required by image data from an image formation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
