Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an engine capable improving efficiency in compression self combustion by properly controlling an amount of fresh air in the control device of the engine implementing compression self combustion.SOLUTION: A control device of an engine 1 includes an intake valve 21, and an intake variable valve mechanism 71 for controlling an opening/closing timing of the intake valve 21. The intake variable valve mechanism 71 includes a cam 71d rotated in synchronization with rotation of a crank shaft 15, a pressure chamber 71c in which an engine oil is charged and an oil pressure of the engine oil is changed by motion of the cam 71d, and a solenoid valve 71b connected to the pressure chamber 71c and controlling the oil pressure acting on the intake valve 21 by being opened and closed. The intake variable valve mechanism 71 controls the solenoid valve 71b to retard an opening timing of the intake valve 21 in an intake stroke in accordance with lowering of load on the engine 1 in compression self combustion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】圧縮自己燃焼を行うエンジン制御装置において、新気の量を適切に制御することにより、圧縮自己燃焼の効率を高めることができるエンジンの制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジン1の制御装置は、吸気弁21と、吸気弁21の開閉時期を制御するための吸気可変動弁機構71とを備え、吸気可変動弁機構71は、クランクシャフト15の回転に同期して回転するカム71dと、内部にエンジンオイルが充填され、カム71dの動作によってエンジンオイルの油圧が変化する圧力室71cと、圧力室71cに接続されており、開閉することにより吸気弁21に作用させる油圧を制御するソレノイドバルブ71bと、を備えており、吸気可変動弁機構71は、圧縮自己燃焼の際に、エンジン1の負荷が低いほど、吸気行程において吸気弁21が開く時期を遅くするようにソレノイドバルブ71bを制御する。【選択図】図7
