Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application method of a brazing material capable of applying uniformly and effectively a molten brazing material onto a long-sized cylindrical workpiece, and suppressing decline of mechanical strength of the workpiece.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for applying a brazing material onto a cylindrical workpiece by using an ultrasonic welder. In the application method of the brazing material, application is carried out so that an acute angle θ formed between an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical workpiece and a vibration direction of an ultrasonic wave irradiated from the ultrasonic welder satisfies inequality θ≤40°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
