Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer configured so that both of a cartridge of a large capacity and a cartridge of a small capacity are appropriately fitted to a carriage and states of the cartridges fitted to the carriage are stably maintained.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises moving bodies 50 which can move in a longitudinal direction of a fitting portion 12 of a carriage 10, and press cartridges 40a and 40b fitted into the fitting portion 12 from back so that a connection portion 12 is electrically connected to connectors 15.
