PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an ink discharged to an outer side of a sheet end part becomes ink mist, floats, and adheres to rear surfaces of sheets during frameless printing.SOLUTION: A platen is disposed at a position facing a record head and provided with: a contact part which contacts with recording mediums; a non-contact part which does not contact with the recording mediums; and an ink receiving part which receives an ink discharged to an outer side of the recording mediums. A recessed part, which is located lower than the contact part in a vertical direction, is provided between the ink receiving part and the contact part in a recording medium width direction, and a supply part, which supplies air to the recessed part, is provided at an upstream side of the recessed part in a recording medium transport direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】 縁無しプリントの際にシート端部の外側に吐出されたインクが霧状のインクミストとなって浮遊し、シートの裏面に付着する場合がある。【解決手段】 記録ヘッドと対向する位置に配されたプラテンに、記録媒体と当接する当接部と、記録媒体と当接しない非当接部と、記録媒体の外側に吐出されたインクを受けるインク受け部と、が設けられ、記録媒体の幅方向においてインク受け部と当接部の間に、当接部より鉛直方向において低い凹部と、記録媒体の搬送方向における凹部の上流に凹部に空気を供給する供給部と、がさらに備えられる。【選択図】 図２
