Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support accurate setting of a division position of a region of interest on a position showing an anatomical feature.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment comprises an acquisition unit, a calculation unit, a region-of-interest setting unit, an image generation unit and an output control unit. The acquisition unit acquires time-series volume data where a portion of a moving subject is imaged. The calculation unit calculates at least either information of volume information or movement information on the region-of-interest of the subject by processing including tracking, using the volume data. The region-of-interest setting unit sets at least one of feature positions showing an anatomical feature to the region of interest. The image generation unit generates an MPR (Multi Planar Reconstruction) image passing through at least one of the feature positions.
