Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering of collected powder when a powder collection container is attached to a transport pipe provided on the side of an apparatus body to transport collected powder.SOLUTION: A powder collection device comprises: a transport pipe 2 for transporting collected powder produced in an apparatus body 1; a powder collection container 6 rotatably carried by way of a pivot center Pr provided in a lower edge portion of an attached-portion 1a of the apparatus body 1; a pipe-side opening/closing mechanism 3 for opening a discharge port 4 by moving an opening/closing lid 5 at the discharge port 4 in cooperation with an operating member provided in the powder collection container 6 when the powder collection container 6 is turned to a position to cover the attached-portion 1a on the side of the apparatus body 1; and a container-side opening/closing mechanism 7 for opening a collection port 8 by moving a container opening/closing lid 9 in cooperation with an operating member provided in the transport pipe 2 when the powder collection container 6 is turned to a position to cover the attached-portion 1a of the apparatus body 1.
