Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery which is allowed to take a slim form reduced in thickness, and is arranged so that the increase in contact resistance can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A fuel battery comprises: a stack arranged by laminating single cells each including a membrane-electrode assembly (MEA), first and second gas diffusion layers disposed to hold the MEA therebetween, and first and second separators disposed to hold the MEA therebetween through the first and second gas diffusion layers respectively. The first separator of the first single cell has: a plurality of first concave portions opposed to the second separator of the second single cell; and a plurality of first convex portions formed to be inseparable from the plurality of first concave portions like the two sides of one object, and protruding toward the first gas diffusion layer. The second separator of the second single cell has: a plurality of second concave portions opposed to the first separator of the first single cell; and a plurality of second convex portions formed to be inseparable from the plurality of second concave portions like the two sides of one object, and protruding toward the second gas diffusion layer.
