Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for packing a photoreceptor, capable of preventing the surface of a photoreceptor from being scratched or deposited when removing a protective sheet and sufficiently protecting the photoreceptor regardless of a size and storage conditions since it is not necessary to require a special device in the shape of the protective sheet and specially control adhesive strength; and a cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor packed in such manner.SOLUTION: A protective sheet 2 is fixed to be wound on the outer surface of a cylindrical electrophotographic photoreceptor 1. A wound end portion 2a and wound stop portion 2b of the protective sheet 2 are stuck and fixed by a pressure sensitive adhesive tape 3 having the center served as a non-adhesive portion 3c and both ends served as adhesive portions 3a and 3b.
