Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-level inverter apparatus with a power source in which a DC power source and a power storage device are serially connected, which is configured to effectively use energy of the power storage device.SOLUTION: When an inverter apparatus, which is constituted to comprise a plurality of current control portions in which current control elements for conducting or shutting-off currents flowing in one direction are combined with rectifying devices which are connected in parallel to the current control elements to conduct currents in the opposite direction of the current control elements, is used to supply three-phase AC power to an AC electric motor to drive the motor from a power source which has three potentials: a high voltage-side potential and a low voltage-side potential formed by a DC power source and a power storage device serially connected to each other and a potential at a connection point between the DC power source and the power storage device to drive the motor, a three-phase AC output voltage is restricted according to rotation speed of the AC electric motor, a voltage value of the DC power source and a power storage amount of the power storage device, and a power allocation of the three-phase AC power which the inverter apparatus outputs is controlled so that the power is allocated as power which is converted from DC power of the DC power source to the three-phase AC power and as power which is converted from the DC power of the power storage device to the three-phase AC power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】直流電源と蓄電装置を直列にした電源による3レベルインバータ装置において、蓄電装置のエネルギーを有効に活用する。【解決手段】一方向に流れる電流を導通または遮断する電流制御素子および電流制御素子に並列に接続して電流制御素子と逆方向に電流を導通させる整流素子を組み合わせた電流制御部を複数個備えて構成されるインバータ装置により、直列に接続された直流電源および蓄電装置によって形成される高圧側電位と低圧側電位と直流電源および蓄電装置の接続点電位の3つの電位を持つ電源から、交流電動機に三相交流電力を供給して駆動するに際し、交流電動機の回転速度と直流電源の電圧値と蓄電装置の蓄電量とに応じて三相交流出力電圧を制限して、直流電源の直流電力から三相交流電力に変換する電力分と蓄電装置の直流電力から三相交流電力に変換する電力分とによりインバータ装置が出力する三相交流電力の電力配分を操作する。【選択図】図1
