PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller unit which enables improvement of assemblability while maintaining holding rigidity to a cable and inhibits enlargement, and to provide an opening/closing body driving device for a vehicle.SOLUTION: A roller unit includes: a base bracket 2 supporting a slide door; a support shaft 23 erected on the base bracket 2; a vertical roller 21 which is rotatably supported by the support shaft 23 and rolls in a center rail; a cable holder 11 which holds the other ends of an opening cable 112 and a closing cable 113; and a cable guide 40 which is disposed at an opposite side of the cable holder 11 across the vertical roller 21, is integrally provided with the cable holder 11, and guides the opening cable 112 and the closing cable 113. A through hole, into which the support shaft 23 may be inserted, is formed at the cable holder 11, and an opening part 45, into which the support shaft 23 may be inserted, is formed at the cable guide 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ケーブルに対する保持剛性を維持しつつ、組み付け性を向上できると共に、大型化を抑制できるローラユニットおよび車両用開閉体駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】スライドドアを支持するベースブラケット２と、ベースブラケット２に立設された支軸２３と、支軸２３に回転自在に支持され、センターレール内を転動する垂直ローラ２１と、開放用ケーブル１１２、および閉塞用ケーブル１１３の各々他端を保持するケーブルホルダ１１と、垂直ローラ２１を挟んでケーブルホルダ１１とは反対側に配置されていると共に、ケーブルホルダ１１に一体的に設けられ、開放用ケーブル１１２、および閉塞用ケーブル１１３をガイドするケーブルガイド４０と、を備え、ケーブルホルダ１１に、支軸２３を挿通可能な貫通孔を形成し、ケーブルガイド４０に、支軸２３を挿通可能な開口部４５を形成した。【選択図】図３
