Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which reduces a work space when removing a front member, and which can secure favorable workability.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a side member 68 for supporting electric components and for partitioning the side surface of a body which accommodates a heat exchanger; a front member 57 connected to a front end of the side member 68 in a manner separable from the side member 68 according to a motion in a specific direction, and for partitioning the front surface of the body; and a side panel 76 connected to the side member 68 rotatably around a rotary shaft 83, for moving away from the side member 68 according to the movement of the separation of the front member 57 and for releasing engagement with the front member 57.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】フロント部材の取り外しにあたって作業スペースを縮小し、良好な作業性を確保することができる空気調和機を提供する。【解決手段】空気調和機は、電装部品を支持し、熱交換器を収容する本体の側面を区画するサイド部材68と、特定方向の動きに応じてサイド部材68から分離可能に、サイド部材68の前端に接続されて本体の前面を区画するフロント部材57と、回転軸83回りで回転自在にサイド部材68に連結され、フロント部材57の分離の動きに応じてサイド部材68から遠ざかりフロント部材57との係り合いを解除するサイドパネル76とを備える。【選択図】図6
