Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which reduces a work space when removing a front member, and which can secure favorable workability.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a side member 68 for supporting electric components and for partitioning the side surface of a body which accommodates a heat exchanger; a front member 57 connected to a front end of the side member 68 in a manner separable from the side member 68 according to a motion in a specific direction, and for partitioning the front surface of the body; and a side panel 76 connected to the side member 68 rotatably around a rotary shaft 83, for moving away from the side member 68 according to the movement of the separation of the front member 57 and for releasing engagement with the front member 57.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
