Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide conversion circuit capable of increasing power energy of an electric field allowing outputting from an open end of a ridge waveguide by suppressing an electric field from weakening within a range from a coupling surface to a ridge in the ridge waveguide.SOLUTION: A hole for defining a coupling surface 6 between a rectangular waveguide 1 and a ridge waveguide 3 is formed inside a part between a narrow surface 2a in the rectangular waveguide 1 and a narrow surface 4b in the ridge waveguide 3 to provide a protrusion 7 with its front end 7a extending toward the coupling surface 6 side at a ridge 5 in the ridge waveguide 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】結合面からリッジ導波管内のリッジに至るまでの間に電界が弱まるのを抑えて、リッジ導波管の開放端から出力することが可能な電界の電力量を増やすことができる導波管変換回路を得ることを目的とする。【解決手段】矩形導波管1における幅狭面2aとリッジ導波管3における幅狭面4bとの一部に、矩形導波管1とリッジ導波管3の結合面6を画定する穴が施され、リッジ導波管3内のリッジ5に、先端7aが結合面6側に伸びている突起物7が設けられているように構成する。【選択図】図1
