Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional switchgear such as an air circuit breaker or the like in which a main contact is deteriorated or worn because hot gas or molten metal generated when arc occurs at the arc contact at the time of opening scatters to the surrounding, thereby degrading contact reliability of the contact.SOLUTION: An air circuit breaker comprises a first mover 10 having an arc contact 9 and a main contact 11, a stator 8, a second mover 12 having only a main contact 11, a mechanism unit 5 which is coupled to both the movers 10, 12 to drive the movers, and an isolating wall 17 through which the arc generated at the arc contact 9 of the first mover 10 and the second mover 12 are isolated from each other when the contact is released and separated. The isolating wall 17 is provided with an arc reflecting surface oriented in a direction as to reflect the arc in an extending direction of the arc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】従来の気中遮断器などの開閉装置では、開極時にアーク接点でアークが発生した際に生じる熱ガスや金属溶融物の周囲への飛散により主接点の劣化や損耗を招き、接点接触信頼性が損なわれる問題があった。【解決手段】この発明に係る気中遮断器は、アーク接点9と主接点11を有する第1可動子10および固定子8と、主接点11のみを有する第2可動子12と、前記両可動子10,12と連結して駆動するための機構部5と、接点開離時に前記第1可動子10のアーク接点9で生じるアークと前記第2可動子12とを隔離する隔離壁17を備え、前記隔離壁17はアークの伸長方向へアークを反射させる向きにアーク反射面を設けたものである。【選択図】図1
