Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for thermochemically converting a biomass or other oxygen-containing supply raw material to a high quality liquid hydrocarbon fuel.SOLUTION: By using a contact hydrogenation thermal decomposition reactor 100 including a deep layer of fluid catalyst particles, biomass and other oxygen-containing supply raw material which are extremely smaller than the catalyst particles are received in a fluid layer 140.
