Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system capable of displaying a desired image at a display device installed at a roadside in a real time by a remote operation, and monitoring a state of equipment including the content displayed by the display device in a real time from a remote place.SOLUTION: In an information display system including an information display device and a user terminal capable of remotely operating the information display device, the information display device comprises a lightning display part having one or more panel units with a plurality of luminous bodies for displaying a desired image by the lighting positions of the luminous bodies; an imaging part capable of imaging a display image displayed by the lightning display part; a transmission/reception part for transmitting/receiving electronic mail to/from the user terminal by wireless communication via a portable telephone network; and a control part for controlling the lighting positions of the luminous bodies on the basis of image data attached to the electronic mail transmitted from the user terminal, and for causing the transmission/reception part to transmit the electronic mail attached with pickup image data picked up by the imaging part to the user terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】遠隔操作によって、道路際に設置された表示装置に所望の画像をリアルタイムに表示することができるとともに、表示装置に表示されている内容を含む機器の状態を、遠隔地からリアルタイムに監視することができる情報表示システムを提供する。【解決手段】情報表示装置と当該情報表示装置を遠隔操作可能なユーザ端末とを備えた情報表示システムであって、情報表示装置は、多数の発光体を備えた１以上のパネルユニットを有し、発光体の点灯位置により所望の画像を表示する電光表示部と、電光表示部に表示された表示画像を撮像可能な撮像部と、携帯電話網を介した無線通信によりユーザ端末との間で電子メールを送受信する送受信部と、ユーザ端末から送信される電子メールに添付された画像データに基づいて発行体の点灯位置を制御するとともに、撮像部が撮像した撮像画像データを添付した電子メールを送受信部からユーザ端末に送信させる制御部とを備える。【選択図】図１
