Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing a toner consumption amount required for the detection of a color shift.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a control part for detecting a shift amount from a reference position of a transfer position at which a developer image is transferred on an intermediate transfer belt. The control part detects the shift amount from a reference position of a transfer position on the basis of the reference value and a shift amount based on a change of the current value detected by a current detection part for detecting the current flowing a charging roller when an electrostatic image for detection formed on the photosensitive drum by light exposure passes a position opposite to the charging roller. When the control part detects the shift amount at a transfer position, the absolute value of the potential of the exposure part exposed in the photosensitive drum surface is larger than the absolute value of the voltage value applied to the developer roller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
