Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor which can suppress the reduction in dielectric loss in a low frequency band.SOLUTION: A capacitor 1 comprises a capacitor part 3 having a first internal electrode layer 15a of a first principal face 3a, making an outermost layer in a lamination direction of the capacitor part, and a second internal electrode layer 15b of a second principal face 3b; and an upside cover layer 7a and a downside cover layer 7b which are arranged on the upside (outside in a thickness direction thereof) of the first internal electrode layer, and the downside (outside in the thickness direction) of a second internal electrode layer 15b of the second principal face respectively, provided that the upside and downside cover layers allow no lithium ion to pass therethrough.
