Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an unpacking operation without requiring a heavy machine other than a device for transporting a battery stand.SOLUTION: The battery stand 10 has a bottom surface 12 on which a battery module 1 is installed. The bottom surface 12 has a first part 12a located at the peripheral edge of the battery module 1 and a second part 12b located in the central part of the battery module 1. In the bottom surface 12, a plurality of open holes 12c penetrating the bottom surface 12 vertically are made between the first part 12a and the second part 12b. Each of the plurality of open holes 12 is so constituted that a stand 2 which comes into contact with the bottom surface of the battery module 1 and supports the battery module 1 can be inserted. The height of an upper surface of the second part 12b is lower than the height of an upper surface of the first part 12a.
