Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for die casting hardly alloying the die and a molten metal when casting aluminum, magnesium or the like by applying a gravity casting method or a low pressure casting method and further shaving the die itself when a blast treatment is conducted as a die maintenance.SOLUTION: There is provided a die for die casting which is carburized, has arithmetic average roughness on a surface (Ra) of 1 to 20 μm and carbide area in a range from the surface to depth of 30 μ measured from a cross section picture of 50% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】重力鋳造法または低圧鋳造法を適用してアルミニウムやマグネシウム等を鋳造する場合に金型と溶湯が合金化し難く、さらに金型メンテナンスとしてブラスト処理を行った場合に、金型自体が削り取られ難いダイカスト用金型の提供。【解決手段】浸炭しているダイカスト用金型であって、表面における算術平均粗さ(Ra)が1〜20μmであり、断面組織写真から測定される前記表面から深さ30μmまでの範囲における炭化物面積率が50%以上であるダイカスト用金型。【選択図】図1 |
